Easy Bread Pudding Recipe

Ingredients

-         6 slices day old bread

-         2 tablespoons butter, melted

-         4 eggs, beaten

-         2 cups milk

-         3/4 cup white sugar

-         1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

-         1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

-         Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

-         Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.

-         Break the bread into small pieces and place into the baking pan. In a saucepan, melt the butter, then drizzle over bread cubes.

-         In a medium bowl, combine the eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Beat thoroughly. Pour egg mixture over bread. Lightly push bread down with a fork until bread has completely soaked up the egg mixture.

-         Bake 45 minutes, or until the top springs back when pressed.
